Your research paper must be at least seven pages and use at least four sources that are not dictionaries or wikis of any kind. Websites should be avoided, unless they are dot.edu, dot.org, or dot.gov. Newspaper and magazines articles are
fine. Your focus will necessarily be dictated by the time period in which your chosen woman lived, so it is difficult to provide specific guidelines that will apply to all, but be sure not to settle for mere biography. Consider the cultural context, the era in which your chosen subject was born and raised. How did this affect her? Were their people who influenced her? People whom she influenced? What has been the long-term effect of her life and work?
