Require you to assume the role of a criminologist and to theoretically explore the causes, processes, and outcomes of either one person’s criminal behavior (i.e., an (in)famous individual) or one aspect of the criminal justice system(i.e., the legislative process, the police, the courts, the corrections system). The Topic of interest will be Prosecutorial culture. Explore the Biosocial theory and the Evolutionary theory that explains the cause of behavior/phenomenon, the processes used to respond to that behavior/phenomenon, and its impact on victims, criminals, or society.
