Astronomy YouTube Project
Visit an astronomy-focused YouTube channel and
watch one of the videos (e.g. NASA, PBS Spacetime, or Astronomy4Kids). After watching the video of your choosing,
write a summary of what you viewed, what you learned, and how it applies to
what you are learning in your Astronomy 101 course. Then, write how you would explain an astronomy
topic to an audience—the topic MUST be different than the one you viewed. The idea is for you to creatively think about
how you could present material you have learned about in class. The write-up must be at least one page, single-spaced but will likely be longer. Pictures/screenshots
are encouraged and are not included in your minimum page limit.
