Drugs and drug taking behavior is a popular subject in film and television shows. Consider a character from a movie or television show that you believe represents Substance Abuse Disorder (per the DSM-5) and relay that diagnosis based on information gathered from class. FORUM #4 INSTRUCTION: Identify the movie/TV show. Write a VERY brief summary of the plot (3-5 sentences MAX, remember I can always look it up!) Describe the character, their role, and the Abusive Behaviors (withdrawal, tolerance, etc.) you believe they exhibit. Describe the disorder and the prevalence of the disorder in the population (if available). Support your choice of disorder(s) based on the character’s symptoms/behaviors Describe any symptoms of the disorder that were missing from the portrayal.
