Drawing from previous research and the annotated bibliography, the argumentative research paper will argue for and defend a particular position about the research topic using logical reasoning and reliable researched evidence. The assignment should include citations of at least seven quality sources of different types (peer-reviewed, database, and no more than two journalistic), which must be cited in-text and be either summarized, paraphrased, or quoted. Most sources should be peer-reviewed. Students should provide one example of summary, paraphrase, and quotation, cited in MLA style. The composition should be formatted in Times 12 font in MLA Style using an MLA template and contain a minimum of seven cited sources.
