This assignment emphasizes a CRITICAL Critique of the film, Shawshank Redemption. The purpose of this paper is NOT intended to be a “summarization” of the movie, but rather, it should focus on identifying as many of the scenes (as possible) in the movie depicting the experiences of the inmates and correctional officers that are reflections/depictions of the issues and topics that have been addressed in the classroom over the course of the semester (whether the institutional or the community aspects of the course).
