The main purpose of the Results section of your paper is to state the results of your data analysis.
It is in the Results section that you present the Tables or Figures of your data. It is also in the Results
section that you give the results of your statistical calculations. When writing the text of your Results
section you should clearly state the facts as they appear. You should present the results of your data
analysis in the text and then refer to a Table or Figure to give the representation of that result. Do not
attempt to explain why your results turned out the way they did in the Results section, that is what the
Discussion section is for. Your Results sections should be about a page of text and should contain
anywhere from 1-3 figures with the statistical analysis for each piece of data that you analyzed. A good
rule is to have a new paragraph for each graph and subsequent statistical analysis.
