FORMAT: Please number pages in the upper right hand corner. No fonts less than 12 points. Indicate Major Paper 3 and topic number on page 1.
Papers should be double-spaced and have 1” margins. You must include at least 3 DIRECT QUOTES from the book(with page numbers) from the novel. You will be graded not only on your choices, but also on how they are integrated into your text. Use MLA format (no footnotes). You must include 2 POSSIBLE OBJECTIONS to your thesis (counterarguments), and then show why these objections are invalid (10 points). Add word count at the end of the paper. 5% off if Works Cited list is missing or incorrect. Outside sources are not expected, but if you use them you must so indicate (and no more than two).
