Create a life using knowledge from “lifespan and development”Berger, K.S. (2020). The developing person: Through the life span (11th ed.).
New York: Worth.
the source is the textbook above.
Using the knowledge you’ve
gained throughout the course, I want you to tell the story of a life (starting from
the moment of conception and ending with death in old age) that is full of
obstacles and accomplishments based on what your person has genetically inherited,
socioculturally learned, and generally experienced during the course of their
life. Use the primary domains of development discussed in class (biosocial,
cognitive, and psychosocial) as your guide. I expect no less than one
clear example from each domain throughout every stage (period of development).
do not be so obvious in giving examples. While
this is clearly a pedagogical exercise and I do want you to demonstrate
proficient knowledge of content, I also want you to have fun it. Don’t be
afraid to get creative! If you want your person to be triplets, go for it! But
also understand you may be creating more work for yourself because now you have
three lives instead of one…unless, of course, they do not all result in viable
births, which we know happens more often than people realize.
