Purpose: In this activity you will use the Class Discussion Board in concert with your textbook, notes and reflections on in-class discussions and online communications throughout the semester to give you an opportunity to evaluate your progress, and the progress of a couple of classmates, as interpersonal communicators. By sharing your thoughts and reactions to and discussing what you`ve learned you will develop a deeper understanding of the influence of communication both in and out of the classroom. Also think about the conversations you`ve had with classmates and your instructor both in and out of class and on your own interpersonal exchanges outside of class. Write a minimum 3 paragraph discussion post that addresses all of the prompts below. What are the most important areas of personal growth that you have experienced as a communicator this semester? Identify personal insights and communication competencies that are part of that growth. How can you apply some of the things that you learned during the semester to your professional life and to your current or future work in school and beyond?
