It might seem pointless to define intelligence. After all, we have all heard this word hundreds of times and probably have a general understanding of its meaning. However, the concept of intelligence has been a widely debated topic among
members of the psychology community for decades.
Prepare for a seminar on theories of intelligence by reviewing the major theories of intelligence since the 1920’s and their criticisms. Consider the extent to which the theories have had effects on society.
