Potential Project Analysis
In our Module 4 lecture you identified the significance of effective analysis prior to project implementation and the impact this analysis has on the organization’s project success. In this assignment you will demonstrate knowledge and demonstration of both the SWOT Analysis and the supplemental Force Field Analysis.
Consider the following scenario:
Isabella Sanchez, Chief Operating Officer
“Thank you for coming today. We are considering opening a satellite facility ten miles from our current facility location. As you know, a satellite clinic offer many opportunities for our organization, but also presents new challenges. As Director of Operations, I would like to you to seek feedback from the rest of the leadership team, and then complete both a SWOT analysis and a Force Field Analysis to determine which services would best benefit the new satellite clinic and customers. Once you have finished your analysis, report back to me in with a presentation according to the parameters I have specified.”

Antonio Johnson, Director of Clinical Operations
“Happy to share some thoughts from the clinical staff. We would need to assess alignment with our current staffing policies, tying everything in with our hospital HR operations and potential future staffing needs. Another consideration is supply chain management.
In our initial review we determined that we would need to hire four medical doctors, six registered nurses, three receptionists, three environmental professionals, and three supply personnel. The addition of new personnel would add 650k to the budget. The budget will encompass mostly payroll and operational expenses. We would need an additional 85k for supplies.”
Analysis Requirements
Format: Slide presentation, 8 slides in length, excluding the title and reference slides.
Each slide will include bullet points, your analysis diagram or other image.
You must provide detailed speaker’s notes that are a minimum of 100 words. The notes must draw from and cite relevant reference materials.
File type: Submit as a presentation file – do not submit a PDF file.
