In this project each student will choose four annual economic indicators (all separate from any others) as presented since the recession began. These indicators will be collected as a team (or individually) and organized into a report that will not only explain the indicator analysis but also an aggregate description of what the current economic situation is actually doing—is it getting better or worse, positive or negative, going up or down, based upon the information in each indicator?
This project will begin to show us not only how important it is to gather factual data on any situation, but also that we should not rely on anyone else for the information that is necessary for us to make decisions about our own future. This is a small part of the critical thinking process.
Provide proof for every analysis and description offered in your report. The length of this report is not as important as the quality of the contents (research). Include as much of the research documentation as possible. Include all charts, graphs, and tables as necessary.
NOTE: please display the use of graphs, charts, or tables as needed.
