Does the discussion start with a summary of your specific ideas and findings and become more general (relating to others’ research in this area) as it progresses?

Words: 435

I have attached the full paper please read it all carefully so you know what the paper is about. The only sections I need to be edited are the abstract, results, and discussion. Everything else you can ignore after reading.

Results; Did you…
A. Name the tests/analyses used to test our hypotheses? (e.g., correlation, t-
test, Cohen’s D, Levene’s)
B. Statistical Significance achieved or not, mentioned-reject the null or
accept the alternate hypothesis stated
C. Give the statistical results of each test, using the proper notation and
APA format for these statistics
D. If tables are used, refer the reader to accompanying tables and/or figures
when appropriate?

Discussion: This should begin by narrowly summarizing your
study results and gradually widening to tie the study results back in with the
literature (perhaps, but not necessarily, some articles you already discussed in the
introduction– here is your chance to mention literature that proposed potential
explanations for similar experiments’ results).
Also include study limitations and end with ideas for future research similar to
yours, but improved to address limitations and new ideas that we were unable to
address.
I will be looking carefully at the following:
A. Does the discussion start with a summary of your specific ideas and
findings and become more general (relating to others’ research in this
area) as it progresses?
B. Do you summarize what was found regarding specific hypotheses
(verbally, without mentioning any numbers)?
C. Do you briefly mention important limitations of our research? (such as the
unique characteristics and possibly questionable generalizability of our
sample, limited researcher training, etc.)
D. Do you explain what our results really mean, in your own words?
E. Are the paragraphs well-written?
F. Do the ideas and paragraphs transition well?
G. Do you cite and tie in studies that are appropriate to your topic (comparing
and contrasting their results with ours)?
H. Do you remind the reader why research on this topic is important and
explain any practical implications it may have?
I. Is the discussion of sufficient length to adequately cover the ideas
presented without becoming wordy and redundant?
J. Do you provide ideas for future, related studies?
