Reading Assignment: Chapter 7; Ethics, Crime, and Criminal Justice
Instructor’s Notes:
Mario Puzo’s Godfather enlightened the masses as to the reality of organized crime. The novel demonstrated the reality of cultural ethics and law. Societal law holds no relevance to organized crime families and gangs. All of these criminal organizations and gangs are counter culture. Some of these groups go beyond counter culture and advocate the violent overthrow and destruction of the American society
What is significant to know is that these groups are real and they adhere to their own set of rules and regulations.

The student will be required to submit a paper with a minimum of 500 words discussing the film viewed in relation to Chapter 7 that addresses the following concepts: 15 points
