Combat Response Paper Guidelines
Please consider the following questions:
What was the impact of the fight(s) on you as an audience member? Where in the story did they come from and what did the fights themselves tell you about the characters and their situation(s)?
Did you see a story within the fight? How did it start? What happened in the middle? How did it end? What choices could you see made by the choreographer or director that told certain aspects of the story? What choices could you see made by the actors that told certain aspects of the story? Did you like these choices? And/or, would you have further or different thoughts/choices if you were the choreographer or the actor?
Were there any moments you feared the actors were unsafe? If so, why?
What did you think of the execution of the fight?
In addition to the questions I have asked above, please feel free to make comments on any other aspect of the fights you find noteworthy. Your paper should be two pages in length.
