The purpose of this Strategies Paper is to clearly define the interventions you will use in developing and implementing your public health program on Cardiovascular/Heart diseases. List the strategies and activities necessary for accomplishing the interventions you have proposed. Ensure each intervention you suggest is evidence- based and contributes to your measurable objectives. This 2-3 page paper should follow current APA guidelines. Include references to 3 peer-reviewed articles highlighting similar interventions which have produced successful outcomes. At least one of your references should not be included in the course materials. Below are the assignment passing criteria: a. Paper clearly identifies the interventions the student will utilize for implementing their public health program. It provides a comprehensive list of the strategies and activities necessary for accomplishing each intervention. Included interventions are evidence-based and contribute to measurable objectives directly related to the student`s public health program b. Chooses a variety of information sources appropriate to the scope and discipline of the research question. Selects sources after considering the importance (to the researched topic) of the multiple criteria used (such as relevance to the topic, currency, authority, audience, and bias or point of view.) c. Ideas are coherently and logically organized with well-developed paragraphs and effective transitions. Document flows from one issue to the next. Writing demonstrates an understanding of the relationship among material obtained from all sources. d. Sentences are well-written. Virtually free of errors in grammar, punctuation and spelling. e. Cites and references all data obtained from other sources. Paraphrases, summarizes, and quotes effectively and properly. f. Zero or almost no deviation from APA standards in the cover or body of the paper, including citations and references.
