This assignment is an individual assignment to develop a Project Approach Curriculum Unit for children in Kindergarten, Grade 1, 2, or 3.
A Project Planning Template will be provided and required to structure and frame the assignment and all of its required components.
The assignment is to include information for all three (3) Phases of Project Planning and a Final Reflection Section. The template will also provide space for concept webbing, class lessons/activities, a documentation plan for children’s learning, a field trip/visiting expert plan, plans to include parents and family members and connections to state and common core standards.
Lastly, students will develop a PowerPoint presentation to showcase their Project Approach Curriculum Plan.
