The title of the paper is Gun Violence and Ptsd in the Youth in US. The intention of this assignment, in addition to encouraging counseling graduate students to learn about a new topic in depth, is to help them think critically and analytically about the clinical and research literature, and to synthesize what they read into overall conclusions that imply areas and directions for future research. The research paper should indicate a diagnostic category and other clinical impressions. Relate the topic area to principles of clinical mental health counseling counseling including how relevant the disorder would be to counseling objectives, potential roadblocks to treatment.
