In Virginia Woolf`s essay "A Room of One`s Own," she creates a fictional sister of William Shakespeare, whom she names "Judith." Woolf claims “Judith” would experience numerous challenges in her lifetime, and she makes specific claims as to why Elizabethan women did not write.
