The Goal: To develop an awareness of the role individuals play in overall group effectiveness and to create an assessment instrument in ensure cohesiveness. Hypothetically, your group has been assigned to present a summary document that describes small group effectiveness in an online program to the Dean of the MBA Program. You do not have to produce this document, but you are required to: Create a list of aspects that impact online group project effectiveness with the goal of creating an extraordinary group. In addition, document a list of the questions you asked to form your submission document. From the list of factors above, create a summary assessment tool that measures your success on the elements/factors you identify. As a base document, you may use one or more of the tools found in the required reading, Tools for Analyzing Groups, a tool used by one of your organizations, a tool found by research, or create a completely new one. Your choice. Just cite your sources. Reminder: The tool must relate to the dimensions you identified, as indicated in the readings, you may need to make modifications. Finally, assess your group effectiveness using the tool you just developed. Many factors impact group performance and communication.
