Introduction: In this section, you will explain what your hypothesis is and describe why it is interesting to explore. Also, in this section, you will briefly describe the data you are using, how you will estimate your empirical model, and summarize your main conclusions. As previously stated, your paper will have six different sections which are described below:
Data: In this section, you will explain the dataset and its source. Also, you should describe how you have transformed your data (e.g., did you convert your variables to per capita terms). In addition, you should include a summary table which will contain statistics such as the number of observations, means, and standard deviations for your data.
Empirical Specification: In this section, you will explain the model you empirically estimate. Typically, your model will take the form:

You should explain which variables are denoted as your dependent variable, your main variable of interest, and other independent variables.
Econometric Issues: Your empirical model might suffer from issues related to omitted variable bias, small sample size, etc. This is your opportunity to explain those issues, how they could potentially affect your results, and how you may or may have not addressed them.
Results: In this section, you will summarize and interpret the results you obtained from estimating your empirical model. Present your results in tables which should be included at the end of your paper.
Conclusion: In this section, you will describe and summarize your main findings and conclude.
