According to my parents my interest in airplanes stood out at an early age and may be the result of the 450+ hours flown as a passage. I remember counting the days before taking our annual family trip to Europe to visit my grandparents. I studied our flight itineraries and spent hours looking out the window, observing airplanes, and enjoying the environment. At home, I recreated airports out of cardboard and played with my models for hours. My passion for aviation has never faded. I still have the same excitement and joy being around planes. I’m currently a Sophomore in high school with a 4.0 GPA enrolled onto my second year aviation program. This year was given the great opportunity to be an ambassador for the aviation program for Mustang high school and meet with state legislators at the Capitol during the “AERO OKLAHOMA” aviation, aerospace and defense Awareness Day. Beside school my main occupations are working at a local restaurant and volunteering at my local EAA Chapter average 20+ hour a month . I look at every opportunity to being among pilots during Chapter meetings, pancake breakfast, kittfox project. Last year I had the privilege to go to OSHKOSH Airventure and to volunteer at the blue barn, looking forward to do the same this year. One of my pride is to be one of the co founder of a flight club Called Redhawks. I ‘ve had the honored and privileged of having been selected by my chapter for the 2021 Ray’s foundation scholarship. I ‘m about to accomplished my first goal thanks to the Ray’s scholarship being a private pilot in June when I turn 17.

The scholarship will assist me financially to pursue further flight training such as advanced ratings IFR / Instruments rating / commercial and CFI . It will put me further ahead in my ultimate career goal as an airline pilot. Completing more training after Private pilot License at this young age would make me save money and time once I start my college degree. It would give me the chance to concentrate on my bachelor degree in aviation. It will give me the financial stability to know I have the money to do the training since I’m in high school and limited how many hours I can work a week. I thrive to just fly and get deeper in training. Without scholarship I don’t make enough money to sustain the costs.
I can’t wait to advance in my training , being so close to obtain my private license I’m already thinking of further things to do to keep going.

I realize that my goal to become an airline pilot is a long journey with considerable costs, effort and dedication. My passion for aviation keeps me going. Im preparing for college and am already accepted to take college classes during my junior year. I’m planning on obtaining a bachelor degree with a major in aviation. I plan to fund my studies through saved funds, part time work as a CFI , scholarships, and hopefully assistance from my parents. Although young I have big ambitions for my future and believe I have set a genuine achievable plan. My passion is aviation and I want to live from it. Ten years from now I see myself sitting in a cockpit in command of an airplane. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and abilities to give back to the organization that supported and mentored me through my journey. I looking forward to be the one giving Young eagle flights as a pilot this time and share my passion among people who have the same interest.
