Write a letter to a selected member of US member of congress or American politician of your choice.
Tell them about an environmental justice concern you think they should be made aware of and explain to them why its important. Provide recommendations of possible solutions and include a call to action.
Send your letter to the policy maker .
How will student be graded?
1. The letter should have substance (at least 250-500 words) Explaining the WHO (10 points), WHAT (10 points), WHEN (10 points), WHERE (10 points) of your selected environmental justice concern. (total 40 points).
2. Does the letter describe the importance of the environmental justice issue and environmental polichy, and a call to action or suggestions on possible solutions (10 points).
3. You should upload your LETTER PLUS EVIDENCE of the congress member you sent the letter to.
