Cultural Journeys into the Arab World: A Literary Anthology This is a research paper, so simply stating stories or summarizing them is unacceptable. – You are free to select the topic, the story(s), and the perspective you prefer to approach and to analyze the story(s) with. – Comparisons between stories from The Nights and story(s) from other works are encouraged as well. – If you require any stories of the Nights or any Arabic literary work of your choice that we did not cover in the class (in English or in Arabic), please let me know and I will provide them to you as soon as possible. – It is acceptable to write on an adaptation of the Arabian Nights or or any Arabic literary work of your choice in visual art, music, or literature.
