Reorganize the information to create a snapshot of a typical child at a point in time. The snapshot will cover the major developments for a child of that age. Not all domains are equally relevant to each age language acquisition is less relevant for infants than it is for 4-year-olds and perceptual development less relevant for 4-year-olds than for infants but the goal is to include the domains most important for understanding the developmental profile for a child at that age.
