Please read your classmates’ posts/threads on the discussion board before class 4/13 to see if there are any topics you would like to work on for the group project! We will be forming research groups around the most popular proposal topics in-class 4/13. Length: 1-2 pages, plus references Propose a topic for meta-analysis and/or systematic review. Write as if you are submitting to a peer-reviewed journal. This assignment builds off previous CLR coursework. When coming up with a potential topic, make sure to consider feasibility (there should be at least 3 primary papers + there shouldn’t been a meta-analysis on the same topic in the last 3-4 years) as well as clinical relevance [FINER, PICOT criteria]! Your proposal should include: Introduction Statement of the problem Importance of the problem Questions to be answered or study objectives to be investigated Delineation of the research problem (explication of relationships between variables or comparisons to be considered) Statement of Hypotheses Methods: Literature search strategy Inclusion/exclusion criteria Criteria for rating methodological quality References
