In this Assignment, you will design a budget to support a program. IMAGINE the following scenario: You are the director of a family services nonprofit organization in Hart City. The mission of the family services center is to create a community in which all families have the opportunity to live safe, healthy, and productive lives. The organization is expanding due to increased demand. A benefactor has left $250,000 to your organization, and you must use these funds in a 2-year period. The nonprofit organization currently has five programs it runs out of its community center: A Head Start program A youth mentoring program that prepares high school students for college or a career Parenting classes Senior yoga A food and diaper bank You can decide to divide the funds evenly across all programs or you can add more staff, expand a program, rent more space, start a new program—it is up to you.
