Prepare Managerial Report (one per group) addressing issues in the above case. Make sure your report is supported with the proper software output if you used the software or computations and try to follow the guidelines below when formatting your report.
CASE WRITING GUIDELINES
When preparing a written case report, assume a role of a managerial consultant who is advising the manager in charge on finding effective problem resolutions. Your job is to answer all questions posted in the case utilizing frameworks and models from the chapter. The written report should be a professional managerial report. Break the text into appropriate sections/sub-sections with titles/sub-titles. Use Appendix and/or Exhibits for tables and figures that support your case (particularly when you use computer models for forecasting). Use one inch for all margins, and include page number in the margins. Below is the structure:
Introduction (identify company/industry, problems/issues/questions to be answered/analyzed, models/frameworks to be applied)
Main sections: this is where all the relevant areas mentioned above are to be covered. Break down into sections and sub-sections with titles/sub-titles if needed (mostly for different questions asked in the case).
Conclusion and recommendations (summary of your recommendations with a view of the future)
Appendix (if needed) is to include tables, graphs, charts and supporting materials that supplement the main paper body
The judgment of your case study will not only be based on right or wrong, but also on:
(50%) How well you apply models and frameworks from the readings
(20%) How well you present and defend your arguments, cohesiveness of the paper
(15%) How well you are able to see and understand different aspects of the issue (pros and cons)
(15%) Comprehensiveness of your answers relative to the posted questions
