Conduct one interview with a media professional or advertising/public relations practitioner. The interview should be about a specific topic related to the course and should address the topic’s relation to the local environment. Students are required to submit an 6 page written report (this excludes the research question page), doubled spaced with 1 inch margins in size 10 Times New Roman font. If the student fails to comply with the formatting, 5 points will be deducted from their grade assignment.
The report needs to include the following in the entirety of the research experience:
1. Formulation of the 5 research questions (5 points) Not included in page count
2. Selection of the media personality and why that individual (5 points)
3. The challenges faced by the student (2.5 points)
4. The results of the interview (2.5 points)
Students get to submit the assignment one time only. It’s the student’s responsibility to double check their work.
The deadline for the assignment is on 10 April, 2022 at 1:59PM
If the student miss the deadline, they will automatically receive a zero. No exceptions.
Finally, students are expected to write full 6 pages otherwise points will be deducted.
Example, if a student ends their paper in the middle of the 6th page, the paper will be considered 5.5 pages. Therefore 1 point will be deducted. If the student ends their paper at in the bottom of 5th page or at the top of the 6th page, it will be considered 6 page paper, so 2 points will be deducted. With every half a page missed, 1 point will be taken off.
Good luck!
