-The Research Paper must be 2000 words (not including title and reference pages) in length.
-The paper should include at least five cited references No more than 2 quotes. The research will be graded on how well the topic is presented along with sentence structure, spelling,
grammar and proper punctuation. Students will address the Saint Leo University core value of personal development within the research paper.
-The research should encompass, at minimum, the following:
1. What was your view of juvenile delinquency prior to taking this course?
2. How has it changed, if at all? If so how.
3. How effective is the juvenile justice system in preventing delinquency rather than just addressing it as it comes through the court system?
4. What recommendations would you make to change the juvenile justice system?
5. How do you plan to apply this new knowledge in your life or profession?
6. What would you do to make a difference in prevention, diversion and treatment programs guided to address trends of future juvenile crime?
