Explain how the Community Health Worker Program will support community engagement and recruitment, data collection, interpretation, and community outreach in the support of the community-based participatory research of the National African American Child and Family Research Center.POSITION ACCOUNT ABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Recruits and takes action to retain community members in research, outreach and related activitiesMaintains communication with community residents and organizationsParticipates in training and other community outreach efforts withing the scope of responsibilities for the Center.Engages to support logistics preparation, implementation and coordination of community-related meetings and events associated with this grant.Participates in recurring team meetings across and engages effectively in a multidisciplinary team.Provides outreach and support regarding available resources offered through the Center and its partners.Provide feedback to Center team members, applicable leaders, partners and stakeholders towards relevance and impact of activities associated with the CenterMay be responsible for demonstrating and training others in community engagement techniquesMaintain and update databases and other information repositories.Responsible for collaborating in the planning, implementation, and communication of qualitative and quantitative data collection with community partners and other stakeholders.
