In your paper, youll also explore a public organization of your choosing and evaluate areas of opportunity within the company that can be improved through a training and development plan. Youll describe the organization, identify and discuss their existing deficiencies and/or performance issues that would benefit from a performance development plan. When thinking of the words performance development plan, do not confuse that with performance improvement plans that companies may use with individual employees to address personal performance issues. The topic we are discussing is related to the training and development of employees to support the employees and overall goals of the organization.
