Write a social phenomenon’s to research – you may use what’s in your textbook, what you gather from internet research, and/or conversation with experts to gain a deeper understanding.

Step 2: Create a digital concept map that explains that explains the inequalities that the social phenomenon creates or maintains. Use the following guidelines to earn full points on your concept map:
Your concept map should be a digital creation. You may use “SmartArt” in PowerPoint OR “Diagrams” in Google Slides. No other file types will be accepted.
Your concept map needs to include the following:
The main concept – this identifies what social phenomenon you will be explaining.
At least EIGHT sub-concepts – these are the important ideas in your explanation.
One of your sub-concepts must identify a specific social inequality – think about some of the “-isms” mentioned in your textbook.
One of your sub-concepts must be/involve the related social institution (i.e., politics, education, or religion)
