Reflection Paper 2: Application of Terms/Concepts
Length: 2-3 pages maximum, double-spaced
Due: Thursday, April 21st
Descriiption
For this final reflection paper, think back across all we’ve covered this semester. Pick 3 terms/concepts that most resonate with you and that could help improve your life long after this course is over. The three terms/concepts must come from different chapters of the textbook.
In your paper you should:
Explain the term/concept in your own words (and cite—see below)
Connect this term/concept to your own life, explaining how it could be helpful for you.
I’m a 19 year old freshman in college. I live away from home. I’m on the football team. I have a younger sister and my parents are divorced. What other personal information do you need from me?
For example, perhaps you want to meaningfully improve your memory (Chapter 8), and you believe using the spacing effect could help you become a better student.
Or, perhaps you want to be able to work with marginalized people who are often victims of prejudice (e.g., racial minorities, people who are LGBTQ+, women; Chapter 13). You could define what prejudice is and explain how understanding this term could help you in your work post-Salve.
