Write an Analysis of the US Criminal Justice System. Your paper must address the three parts of
our Criminal Justice System and the policies within each part. Your thesis and conclusion
should address whether the present system in the US works to deter crime, protect victims,
protect the rights of Defendants, and punish offenders.
Thesis Statement:
The purpose of this research paper is to discuss various components of the American Criminal Justice System and show how Criminal Justice in the United States exists in different systems. Unlike in other nations, the United States of America System of Criminal Justice is not only composed of or represented by an individual, all-encompassing institution. Instead, it is composed of the police, the courts, and corrections at both the federal and state levels.
Between 10-15 pages in length (not including title, references, tables, or figures).
Double-spaced, with 1.0 Inch margins, in Times New Roman, 12-point font.
APA format in terms of academic writing style and referencing/citation criteria.
Papers should be analytical and must include scholarly research.
Must draw from a minimum of 10 sources, which must be cited correctly in the text and be documented correctly in the reference page. Of the total works cited, at least five should be articles from academic journals or books published by an academic press. Do not include theses or dissertations as references. Works cited and the references must be in APA format.
