Let’s discuss the differences between EEO, affirmative Action, and diversity management.

Take some time and research each of the topics on the Internet. What can you determine about the key differences between EEO, affirmative action, and diversity management? Class: I want to mention two additional resources. As you research and think about the topic of this discussion, it would also be helpful to include the role and purpose of the EEOC. The EEOC has two primary roles: 1) To create regulations for the implementation of EEO laws, and 2) Enforcement of the regulations. The EEOC does not initiate lawsuits…an individual or a group of individuals has to first file a complaint. HR professionals should be very familiar with the EEOC laws and regulations, and should be prepared to explain them to managers.
