This assignment is for my English class and we are to write up a proposal explaining why the book I chose should be incorporated into the AP class curriculum. The book I chose was The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. My teacher describes this book as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour). I believe the reason this book falls under that category is that the Author is of Brazilian descent. You can base your approach to the proposal on the attached example. I also need an annotated bibliography with five different types of sources that are listed in the instructions. For that, there is also an example. Each source only needs a paragraph of explanation.
