Speech guideline
1. You must choose a topic that will be new and interesting to your audience. You are giving a descriptive Informative speech, which will be about a person, place, event, or object.
2. The speech should have the four functional steps of the introduction (Attention Getter, Credibility Statement, Thesis Statement, main points) and the three functional steps of the conclusion (Summary, Thesis statement, Memorable Statement or Call to Action) should be clearly identifiable.
3. There should be a definite, logical transition bridging each component of the speech.
4. Each main point should be clearly stated and developed.
5. A typed outline is required and should follow the general outlining principles.
