Write a response paper, in at least 600 words, singled spaced, to two articles on early career and work preparation. This will help to set you up with the mindset for success in your position.
What speaks to you personally and professionally?
What are examples or reflections from your working/personal life?
What are steps you can take specifically to be well prepared in the start of your internship or career?
Choose from a series of articles below (attached). You can also use other articles you might find linked or related to these; if so, contact me ahead of time before using them.
The response should reference aspects of the articles. The key to doing well on this assignment is to have a thoughtful, personal reflection about where you stand today with your work, what you hope to achieve in terms of behavior or mindset, and how your internship can be used to learn or grow. Use specific examples, situations, and perspectives about your early workplace development.
