In this section, we talked about different forms of economies and jobs. For this discussion, you will research your country and answer the following questions. Each question should be in a complete paragraph. Make sure you cite and source your information in MLA format. Also, if it comes from personal experiences, please make that clear.
1. What is the current economy and principal jobs that your country depends on? Does it have multiple economies, meaning different economies in different areas? If so, what are they, what jobs are related to those differences, and what economy fits which area?
2. Has this been a change from the past? If so, how has the economy and jobs changed?
3. How do the people in your country view those in different jobs? What I mean here is do they look down on certain jobs or are all jobs treated equally from the janitor to the CEO? Here in the USA, we tend to look down on people who work menial jobs. We look at CEOs and owners of companies with awe and treat them with respect. However, we often look at janitors with less respect and treat them as if they don’t matter as much as the CEO. Now, in reality, we all know this is not true as they are both doing a needed job and using skills, but it still happens in our society. One reason this happens is the obsession with power, status, and money some people have. So, is this the same case in your country or do they treat the CEO and the janitor with the same respect?
4. How has globalization affected the commerce and trade of your country? Have there been factories outsourced, trade unions developed, etc. or has it remained unchanged?
