What is your personal framework for viewing the international environment and current world events? For example, do you view yourself as leaning toward realism, liberalism, constructivism, or some combination of these? Is there a lesser‐discussed framework of world politics with which you agree? Please explain your personal framework thoroughly and be clear on the central concepts of your chosen framework, and explain why these appeal to you. You may use outside sources, but it is not required. The references or citations in your papers should be documented accordingly. I do not require any specific format (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.), but your chosen style should be consistent throughout the paper—if I cannot find the source or the idea with a simple database search or with a cursory readingof the original document, then it is not acceptable. All papers should be 3-5 pages double spaced, in Times New Roman, 12 point font, one inch margins all the way around. Do not use excessive spacing between heading and body of your paper or in between paragraphs in an attempt to reach the page minimum. I would also suggest having someone at the Writing Center review your papers before you submit them to me to check for grammar, spelling, punctuation… Again, thoroughly explain your chosen theory and why it appeals to you. THE BOOK FOR THIS CLASS IS TITLED: THE GLOBALIZATION OF WORLD POLITICS: AN INTRODUCTION TO INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS 7TH EDITION BY: JOHN BAYLIS.
