Reminders – Before completing this workshop, be sure to watch the HOT Intro vid (Links to an external site.) and TEST Body vid (Links to an external site.). All parts of these models must be addressed. For this second essay, you’re ultimately addressing a single question: “How can John Robbins improve No Happy Cows by adding a new chapter?” Remember, you are not writing an actual new chapter for No Happy Cows. Instead, you’re arguing how a new chapter would improve the book by tying your reasons to specific parts of the book. You can pick any relevant idea for your essay except for farmers’ markets since it’s the focus of my sample in the essay prompt. Still unsure about your essay focus and new idea for the book? Some of the promising essay topics I’ve heard about include sushi, energy drinks, school lunches, Starbucks, Costco and many more. Each of these could be a great addition to the book because each one could build on existing ideas, points, and examples. The challenge is explaining how. Of course, these are only a few ways to improve Robbins’ discussion by adding a new chapter.

If you need help posting an active link, watch this vid (Links to an external site.). Your draft must include three parts:
HOT introduction – Remember, your “O” section is a concise summary of all four parts of the book. If you didn’t read the final section, you probably won’t be able to offer a complete O section.
