Writing Topic: Stem cell research is currently one of the hot-button issues in American politics and society. To gain a better appreciation of the pros and cons concerning the use of stem cells, you will search the Web for information on this topic using the search terms “stem cell and research” or “stem cell and controversy.” Then, based on these readings, you will write a paper in which you will identify and defend five reasons supporting stem cell research and five reasons opposing it. Lastly, ensure you state your personal position on stem cell research after you have completed your research. In other words, do you support stem cell research or not, why?
