Discussion Board: Vigilante Justice
Do some research on the Internet. Find an incident that occurred in American history where vigilante justice was used. The text addresses this topic. Don’t cover any specific incidents addressed in the text. There are many incidents in history. Find one incident. It could have resulted in a criminal case, but it doesn’t have to have resulted in a court case. Explain what happened, why it was vigilante justice and what, if any, reasonable alternatives (other than the vigilante act(s)) were available to the individual(s) who committed the act(s).
