In around 300 words, provide a private, journal reflection on the following prompt questions. If your book is running late, you can use the link below, which corresponds with the textbook reading. Lessons 1-6 (link) on pp. 39-41 are taken from Michael Gelb’s book How to Think like Leonardo Da Vinci: Seven Steps to Genius Every Day. These are also available at the link: https://www.designorate.com/da-vincis-creative-thinking/
Write the titles of these 6 lessons in your journal (e.g., Lesson 1: Change the Thinking Pattern, Lesson 2: Connect the Unconnected, etc.).
Then, explain a time when you or someone you know experienced each lesson, or share how that lesson could be useful in your life with specific examples and details related to your educational or career goals, experiences in the workforce, or personal life. Rather than relying on Gelb’s descriptions, integrate ideas from Gelb’s article through careful paraphrasing. Remember, you need real and specific examples, not general or hypothetical events and instances. You can keep your stories anonymous, but make sure the ones you recall are relevant to these lessons.
You will have 6 short answers total.
Please reference ideas from the chapter and cite a page number each time you do, like this for MLA: (Satterwhite & Amirtharaj 12), and like this for APA: (Satterwhite & Amirtharaj, 2017, p. 12) or MLA: (Fernandez) and APA: (Fernandez, 2018).
