The First Part:
Create a case study related to stroke and seizures.
The case study has to introduce both topics like what it is essentially and identify the history of a made-up patient and the history of the present illness of the case.
Include the subjective data the patient expressed and stated: the clients chief complaint, pain, physical symptoms, culture, and whatever the patient says to the healthcare personnel.
Include the objective data such as the Vital signs (Temperature, Pulse rate and rhythm, Respirations, Blood pressure, and Oxygen Saturation).
Also include the Heart sounds, Lung sounds, Skin texture and temperature, Posture, Wounds/Ulcers, Edema, How they walk or breathe, Level of consciousness, Physical appearance, Emotional status, and anything they appear concerning the healthcare personnels eyes.
Include the results of lab and diagnostic studies (EEG, EKG, Neurological Exam, CT, MRI) and the numbers of each Blood test (CBC, Basic Metabolic Panel, Lipid Panel, and Coagulation)
Please make sure you showcase the numbers of each of the blood tests and the results of each diagnostic study. Analyze the data with diagnostic reasoning. Describe the type of seizure the client was experiencing (Generalized Tonic-Clonic seizure)? Describe the type of stroke the client was experiencing?
The second part:
Discuss the pathological aspects of the disease process for stroke and seizures thoroughly such as risk factors, etiology, pathogenesis, and clinical manifestations.
What specific body systems will be impacted? How? If left untreated, what would the advanced disease process look like for a patient with stroke and seizure? Whats the outcome of the advanced disease process and what other body systems will be affected?
The Third part:
Discuss at least three drug classes related to the case study of stroke and seizures.
Discuss the therapeutic use, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, mechanism of actions, contraindications, adverse effects, and client education of each of the drugs.
Also, Describe in detail how each drug will impact the disease process of stroke and seizures and its effect.
Important: Sources have to be a nursing-based journal with evidence-based practice from a primary healthcare provider. It cant be a blog, website, WebMed, or Mayo Clinic.
