This is literary analysis paper for a Childhood and Youth Studies class. Analysis and not a review A.K.A. a review is a second or subsequent reading of a text or artifact while analysis is a decomposition into components in order to study (a complex thing, concept, theory).
I have purchased the children’s book you’ll be analyzing and provided the related readings and class slides that I think are most relevant to the book. The book is Becoming Vanessa by Vanessa Brantley-Newton and I’ve attached a pdf file.
Instructions are linked below along with slides, and readings for sources. You don’t need to use all the readings provided but minmum 3 must be used as well as concepts from lecture slides. No need to cite lecture slides, everything else (readings, sources, book) will need to be cited.
