Each source should be accompanied by an annotation that both summarizes the content and focus of the source (e.g., What main arguments are presented? What topics are covered?) as well as evaluates the usefulness, conclusions, and/or reliability of the source (e.g., Is this a reliable and current source? Is the research biased or objective? Are facts well documented? Who is the author? Is s/he qualified in this subject? etc.) Annotations should be written in complete sentences and in paragraph format, double-spaced. Parenthetical references are not required unless you directly quote a source with page numbers.
