Hello,
This is the first essay writing service I’ve ever tried.
I wanted to write about Gender and Performance using Judith Butler’s claims and Simone De Beauvior’s Introduction (I’ve attached both of their papers). The essay needs at least 1500 words not including in-text citations and the reference page at the end. I also attached, copied and pasted the citing sources and citing preference of my professor below.
If there’s anything else I’m missing please let me know right away.
Citing Sources:
1. You must cite your sources in text as I do on our slides. Please follow these instructions:
When you pull a direct quote from the reading make sure to do the following. (1) Introduce the quote (who said it); (2) quote passage as it appears; (3) include page number at the end; and (4) make sure you clearly explain the quote and why the quote is relevant.
For Example: He argues, “All cats are morally superior to all dogs” (Smith 34). Smith’s position here is evidence of his bias against canines as a result of an early childhood trauma. He gives no empirical evidence to support his descriptive claim.
Only indent and single-space quotes that are over 4 lines of regular text; never italicize them unless they’re italicized in the original text
Use quotes carefully
When you are talking about the arguments from one of the articles, you are paraphrasing what they have said. This is good, and most of your assignment should rely on paraphrasing (putting it into your own words) and not direct quotes. However, when you paraphrase the ideas of one of the authors you still need to identify where the idea/argument came from. After you have finished paraphrasing a particular argument, include a page number(s).
For example: In Smith’s article he argues, dogs are in some sense inferior to cats, a position that is mentioned – without reference to empirical data – throughout his work (34-5, 38, 40, 59).
2. You must have a reference page (this is where Smith’s article/chapter will appear)
Use Chicago Style: Turabian author-date citations
